The Story

Saturday morning. The kind that arrives slowly, with good light and no agenda.

She carried her coffee to the terrace. Her handbag — structured, summery, the color of something you'd find in a Palm Beach boutique on a perfect afternoon — sat on the chair beside her. Fresh flowers on the table. A silk scarf draped over the back of the chair, not because she needed it yet, but because it looked beautiful there.

Later, there would be shopping. A long lunch. A walk past the boutiques on Worth Avenue where the windows always have something worth stopping for.
