🎄 Christmas in Italy
Volume 05 • The Recycle Me Fancy Editorial House™
The Inspiration Behind This Story
In Italy, Christmas is not a season. It is a ceremony.
The markets smell like roasted chestnuts and orange peel. The lights on the cobblestones reflect gold. Someone is always playing something beautiful just around the corner. And the women — the Italian women — dress for Christmas the way they dress for everything: with complete intention and zero apology.
We took notes.
The Story
The suitcase was already packed before she decided what to wear.
Jewelry first — always jewelry first in Italy. The vintage brooch her grandmother would have recognized. The pearl earrings that work with everything. The bracelet stack she'd been building for three years, one beautiful piece at a time.
Then the dress. Then the coat. Then the handbag — the one that looked like it belonged in a Florentine boutique window, which is exactly where she was headed.
Outside, the Christmas market was beginning. Somewhere, someone was wrapping a gift in tissue paper and pink ribbon.
She tied her scarf, picked up her bag, and walked into the most beautiful season of the year.
Dressed for it. Ready for it. Entirely herself.
